| Sumario, etc. | Las características histológicas de los centros melanomacrófagos (CMM) son descriptas en hepatopáncreas, bazo y riñón de Cichlasoma dimerus, con un análisis comparativo de la densidad y el tamaño de los CMM entre los distintos tamaños de los peces, y en diferentes condiciones sanitarias y ambientales. Los CMM del hepatopáncreas son esféricos u ovoides, tienen 20-26 µm de diámetro, y su pigmentación varía entre amarillo-dorado y marrón oscuro. Los CMM del bazo son redondeados o ligeramente ovoides, midiendo de 15-50 µm, y están rodeados por una cápsula muy delgada e irregular de tejido conectivo. En el hígado de Cichlasoma dimerus se encuentra la menor densidad de CMM, en el riñón hay una cantidad ligeramente superior, y en el bazo se presenta el mayor número de éstos. El tamaño de los CMM en general es ligeramente mayor en el hígado que en el bazo, mientras que en el riñón siempre son más pequeños. En el grupo de peces mantenidos en acuarios durante 100 días se produce una reducción del número de CMM en el hígado y el bazo en relación a los peces provenientes de ambientes naturales y sin patologías. Por otra parte, el número de CMM está aumentado en los peces que presentan patologías antes del muestreo. El tamaño de los CMM en el hígado y el bazo también es diferente entre grupos donde el menor tamaño corresponde a los peces mantenidos en acuarios y el mayor a los que tienen patologías. The histological characteristics of the melanomacrophage centers are described in liver, spleen and kidney of Cichlisoma dimerus, with a comparative analysis of the density and the size of the centers among the different sizes of the fishes, and in different sanitary and environmental conditions. The melanomacrophage centers of the liver are spherical or ovoid, they have 20-26 µm of diameter, and their pigmentation varies among yellow-gilded and brown dark. The melanomacrophage centers of the spleen are rounded or slightly ovoid, they have 15-50 µm of diameter, and they are surrounded by a very thin and irregular capsule of conective tissue. In the liver of Cichlisoma dimerus is found the smaller density of melanomacrophage centers, in the kidney there is a quantity slightly superior, and in the spleen is presented the greater number of centers. In general, the size of the melanomacrophage centers is slightly greater in the liver than in the spleen, while in the kidney they are smaller. In the group of fishes maintained in aquaria during 100 days is produced a reduction of the number of melanomacrophage center in liver and spleen in relationship to the fish coming from natural environments and without pathologies. On the other hand, the number of melanomacrophage centers is increased in the fishes that present pathologies before of hte sampling. Also, the size of the melanomacrophage centers in liver and spleen is different among these groups, where the smaller size corresponds to the fishes maintained in aquaria and the great to those which have pathologies. |
