A synopsis of Cousinia Cassini sect. Serratuloides Bunge (Asteraceae) is presented. The new species C. sheidaii and C. elburzensis, collected from Markazi and Mazandaran provinces in Iran, respectively, are described and illustrated, and characters that distinguish them from thir nearest rerlatives are given. A description of the section Serratuloides Bunge, an enumeration, and a key to its 13 species are given.
