| 520 | _aLimnoperna fortunei (Dunker, 1857), es hallada en Argentina en 1991, alcanzando actualmente una amplia distribución y alta densidad en la llanura aluvial del río Paraná, causando problemas en instalaciones de tomas de agua de ciudades ubicadas sobre el río. Dado el consumo de almejas autóctonas por peces de la región, se formuló la siguiente hipótesis general: Limnoperna fortunei es predada en sus distintos estadios de desarrollo por especies ícticas del río Paraná Medio. Los objetivos del trabajo son detectar la presencia de este bivalvo en peces de distintas y tallas, determinado su porcentaje relativo en la ingesta, tamaño y grado de digestión. Los peces se extrajeron de ambientes lóticosy leníticos del Paraná Medio. L. fortunei fue hallada en especies de Potamotrygonidae, Anostomidae, Doradidae, Pimelodidae y Loricariidae, constituyendo en algunas el 99 % de la ingesta. La fragmentación de las valvas se relaciona con la estructura del aparato trófico de los peces. Limnoperna fortunei (Dunker, 1857) was found in Argentina in 1991, reaching at present a large distribution and high density in the floodplain of the Middle Paraná River. This species originates serious problems in the raw water systems with economic damage of several riverside cities. Because of the ingesta of native mussels by the Paraná's fishes the following general hypothesis was formulated: Limnoperna fortunei is predated in its different development stages by several fish species of the Middle Paraná River. The scope of the work is to detect the presence of this mussel in fishes of different species and sizes, estimating the relative percentage in the ingesta, and also the size and digestion degree. The fishes were sampled in lotic and lentic habitats of the Middle Paraná River. Limnoperna fortunei was found in several fish species of the families Potamotrygonidae Anostomidae, Doradidae, Pimelodidae and Loricariidae. In some species was foun near of 99 % of the ingesta.
