Las glándulas gástricas del estómago cardial tenían un solo tipo celular caracterizado por un sistema túbulo-vesicular y numerosas mitocondrias en el citoplasma apical y un retículo endoplásmico granular bien desarrollado en la zona basal. Las células del estómago pilórico eran mucosas con gránulos secretorios en apical y retículo endoplásmico rugoso en el citoplasma basal. El intestino y los apéndices intestinales tenían células absortivas, caliciformes y leucocitos migrantes con características típicas. Las células acinares pancreáticas contenían un rico retículo endoplásmico granular y gránulos secretorios electrodensos. The epitelial cells of the digestive tract of Prochilodus platensis were studied by transmission electron microscopy. The gastric glands of the cardiac stomach contained one form of cell characterized by a tubulo-vesicular system with a great number of mitochondria in the apical cytoplasm and a well developed granular endoplasmic reticulum in the bassal zone. In the pyloric stomach the cells were mucous with secretory granules in apical and rough endoplasmic reticulum in the basal cytoplasm. The intestine and the intestinal appendices had absorptive cells, goblet cells and migratin leucocytes with typical characteristics. The pancreatic acinar cells contained a rich granular endoplasmatic reticulum and electron dense secretory granules. | ||
