We describe two new species of the genus Opuntia (Cactaceae): the yellow flowering Opuntia fuscolineata Starmühler & Mucher spec. nova from the province Chiquitos in the southeastern part of Bolivia and the white flowering Opuntia mucheri Starmühler spec. nova from the province Salta in the northeast of Argentina.
