Abstratc: On 60 clinically healthy canines from different breed and age, morphological anomalies were verified in the region of the forearm of 15 specimens (25%), characterized as radiate-ulnare sindesmosis. They consisted on lengthened deformations that occupied the half third of the interosseous space, defining two arcades radiate-ulnare (proximal and distal), capable to interfere the pronation and supination movements. Findings were documented by means of x-rays and photographies of the dissected anatomical piece. The probable existence of this abnormality should be kept in mind when surgical and traumatological maneuvers have to be performed in canines.
