De acuerdo a estos resultados esta especie es zoófago macrófago depredador de peces. El componente más importante en la alimentación es el pez y en segundo término, los de agua dulce e insectos territoriales, asi como camarones de agua dulce. Gut content of 175 individuals were analyzed. According to the results we consider that this species is zoophagous macrophagous predator fish. The most important food component is fish and in the second term, the freshwater and terrestrial insects, as well as the freshwater shrimps.
